Key Responsibilities​

Design Development​

  • Translate client briefs into visual concepts
  • Create multiple design options with sketches and renderings
  • Research period, cultural, and thematic accuracy
  • Present designs to clients for approval
  • Incorporate feedback and refine designs

Technical Execution​

  • Create accurate technical drawings and specifications
  • Develop custom patterns from measurements
  • Select appropriate materials, fabrics, and embellishments
  • Coordinate with Operations on construction feasibility
  • Oversee prototype development and fitting adjustments

Quality & Standards​

  • Maintain design quality and artistic integrity
  • Ensure historical accuracy for period pieces
  • Define construction standards and techniques
  • Build and maintain material and supplier library
  • Document successful designs for future reference
